Title – A Culture of Benevolence
Deuteronomy 15:7-11
We will look at this Old Testament passage where God instructs Israel to forgive debts and help those in need as part of the benevolent culture he expects from his people as they prepare to enter their promised land. Jesus spreads this same generosity of spirit among his followers which is found even the prayer he taught them to pray. How should this inform our own lives and endeavors?
