This episode was incredible! The pacing, the combat, the emotional impact, the horrific way violence was depicted - everything was amazing. I'm don't know the last time an action sequence had me so captivated and made me so tense.

In the second episode of the 5th season, we see that Aku is still tormented by Jack clinging to life, whereas Jack is tormented by life itself and has contemplated death. Jack's combative drive to survive results in him killing a human for the first time in the series, and the Daughters of Aku are now down to six.
