The scope of work on this project defines the word "Challenging"
Priestly Demolition was tasked to remove one of the busiest bridges in the Ottawa region - The Hurdman Bridge. The Hurdman runs over the Rideau River and one of the biggest challenges PDI faces is to avoid dropping even an ounce of debris into the river below.
PDI's plan is to tackle this job with a gantry system. The first time a system like this has been used to remove a bridge.
