Tragedy Strikes in Siachen, at least 7 Indian Army soldiers have been reported to have lost their lives on Friday as a bus in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into the Shyok river in Ladakh, southwest of Siachen. Army sources said several other soldiers sustained grievous injuries in the accident that took place in Turtuk sector in Leh district.
The bus was reportedly carrying 26 soldiers when it met with the accident. Efforts have been made to ensure the best medical care is arranged for the injured, said Army sources.
