Swelling and pain after breast surgery are very common, but if it lasts more than a few weeks, it's not normal. Post-mastectomy pain syndrome, as well as swelling and general pain, can be caused by multiple different things, but in this video, I go through the various ways to help reduce pain and swelling after a lumpectomy, mastectomy, or breast surgery. There are things that can be done to decrease breast pain, decrease chest and breast swelling, and improve shoulder motion and function.
