An ode to the Metre Gauge trains that have served the nation for more than a century and soon to be phased out.
Here is an amazing race that lasted for about 30 minutes totally.

The morning passenger from Bareilly to Lal Kuan enters Izzatnagar on time, yet fails to depart. 5 minutes later, Aishbagh bound MG Express departs sharp on time from Izzatnagar. At the same time, the Lalkuan bound passenger gets a starter and the trains depart parallel.
Then begins a cat and mouse game, as the trains race each other all the way till Bhojipura Jn where they part ways.
Currently, both the trains do not exist. The BG Passenger has been replaced by a DEMU. The MG Express does not run as Pilibhit - Mailani section is undergoing a Gauge Conversion.
