Case description:
A 77-year-old patient came to our clinics with a history of cataract surgery two months ago and a blurred vision in the left eye.
The examination revealed that the visual symptoms were due to an incorrect lens power calculation. The refraction before the lens exchange operation:
-3.50 -0.75 / 62 BCVA: 0.8 (decimal).
Therefore, we decided to remove the old IOL and implant a new one. The refraction after the lens exchange operation:
-0.25 -0.75 / 45 BCVA: 0.8 (decimal).
