Part 2 of our talk with Joshua White! Our conversation continues, as we discuss the history and methods of the Joshua Light Show, and finish off by sharing some thoughts and ideas about light shows in general.

The Joshua Light Show was the first house light show at the Fillmore East. Unlike West Coast light shows, JLS was able to maintain a fulltime residency at the venue, with a permanent set up behind the screen. This allowed the group to develop and refine the light show by leaps and bounds.

Here's just some of the legendary musicians who played the Fillmore East, with the Joshua Light Show providing the backdrop: Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, The Who, and Janis Joplin.

Psychedelic Light Show Review is a weekly show about old school light shows, and the traditions which have carried on since they first arrived on the scene in the 1960s. Hosted by Steve Pavlovsky of Liquid Light Lab and Chris Samardizch of Brotherhood of Light.
