Hot on the heels of three Universal Monster legends (Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy), the fascinating phenomenon of THE INVISIBLE MAN was added in 1933 (based on H.G. Wells' 1897 sci-fi novel).
Starring Claude Rains, and helmed by Frankenstein director James Whale, as with all the other Universal Monsters there had been so many versions of these stories and characters across the decades, The Invisible Man also getting a rendition as Hollow Man by Paul Verhoeven (RoboCop, Basic Instinct) with Kevin Bacon, and the 2020 Blumhouse updated version with Elisabeth Moss.

The Horrorfest celebrates scary movies in all its forms, and will never forget the classics that lay the foundation.
