Donald Trump has been taking full advantage of US President Joe Biden’s “dopey” remarks about the former president’s supporters being ‘garbage’, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
It comes as Mr Trump made his appearance on stage in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Wednesday sporting an orange worker's high-vis vest, a gesture in response to the recent gaffe from Biden.
“It confirms a preconception about the Democrats looking down, sneering down at ordinary voters, especially Trump voters, of course Hillary Clinton had the same problem,” Mr Kenny said.
“And Donald Trump he's just across Lake Michigan in nearby Wisconsin campaigning as is Kamala Harris. Of course, he's the master about turning this sort of a gaffe into a big positive for him.”
