RCMP have released more information on a sensitive police investigation. We told you on Friday that police had descended upon a residence on Senkpiel Avenue. The RCMP said it was targeting a group of individuals believed to be a public safety concern. Today, the police say they had been receiving reports from the public about a group of men approaching people for the purpose of trafficking drugs. As part of the investigation, a number of men were located and arrested on Friday. Police say the men recently came to Prince George from the Lower Mainland and are believed to be involved in gang activity. The men have been released on conditions including that they not be in Prince George.
