Sometimes people leave comments telling me that they're finished with copy trading on Etoro, and instead they're making great gains trading manually.

My message to them is why choose? Why not just switch to the other side of copy trading, and become a popular investor? That's where the big money is for those who are able to do it.

In this video, I have a look at one of the top traders on eToro, who currently has over 20,000 investors copying his trades and upwards of 50 Million dollars of assets under management. That's a LOT!

I try to work out roughly how much he's making not from his trading profits, but from the Etoro Popular Investor program itself.

I also discuss some of the aspects of being a copied investor which people may not have really considered. Is it just technical skill? Or is there more too it?
