Celebrations in Alba-Iulia Romanian King.
King Ferdinand I of Romania crowned King of Greater Romania in the town of Alba-Iulia (in central Rumania; in the former principality of Transylvania); 1922.
Coronation procession through streets in progress. King Ferdinand would be aged about 60. Also in procession Queen Marie (much admired for her work during the War) and other members of royal family; some military men; Eastern Orthodox priest. They pass under an arch; walk down steps. Royal family appears on balcony; one prince; a child of about 8-10 years; asks his mother (?) something.
Parade across a field or parade ground: people in traditional ethnic costumes; various groups in uniforms; and even peasants w/ a herd of sheep. Flags of some other countries including USA are carried; but can't see who has them. Group of schoolgirls form large circle and skip round; then converge again holding up Romanian flags. Romanian Army soldiers marching and on horseback and motorcycles; small tanks rolling down the field.
