5 ways having a teardrop trailer changed
camping for us
1. Everything is always ready to go!
We can decide on Friday we want to take a trip
for the weekend and all we need to do is pack a
bag and the cooler.
2. No camp set up! (Paige's favorite)
We used to spend so much of our time on road
trips setting up and taking down camp. With a
teardrop you just unlock the doors and you're
good to go.
3. We sleep like babies. (Danny's favorite)
We used to come home from a camping trip
exhausted! Now we're able to spend all the
time outdoors we want, but have a comfy
queen bed to sleep on.
4. No more wet gear!
We got rained on so many times towards the
end of our tent days, which was a big part in
the of building our teardrop. With our tiny
camper we are safe from all the elements and
protected from bad weather. On this last road
trip we were in a DOWNPOUR, but us and our
gear all stayed dry!
5. We spend less money
This past road trip we spent a grand total of $0
on accommodations! Having a tiny camper with
everything we need means no more Airbnb or
hotel stays, we don't eat out as much because
cooking is super easy, and we get great gas
mileage (about three mpg less than when we
aren't towing).
Because of this, we have camped WAY more
than ever before in our teardrop trailer!
