The YouLead Summit 2019 has entered its second day with a call to the youth to change their mindset of looking for large sums of money to start a business but rather use the available opportunities by being innovative. Now the youths, with help of social media as a marketing tool have been urged to use the space positively, be innovative enough, make use of new technology to come up businesses that are solution-based. On top of the tax holidays for the youths already in business, there is also the need for a change in the education curriculum in the East African Community to equip the young population with more practical education as opposed to theoretical to fit favourably in the global village. The day is running under the theme, “ Slowbalisation: Has Globalisation lost its steam?”
