Roger Clegg accepts the ATHE-ASTR Award for Excellence in Digital Scholarship which he won for his project, "Reconstructing the Rose: 3D Computer Modeling Philip Henslowe's Playhouse," completed with Eric Tatham.

Dr. Roger Clegg was Senior Lecturer in Drama Studies at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, before emigrating to Queensland, Australia. Previously, he has taught the practice of theatre and drama at several universities in the UK including University of Exeter and Plymouth University, and the MA in Shakespeare Studies taught jointly with King’s College London and Shakespeare’s Globe. He is co-author of "Singng Simpkin and Other Bawdy Jigs: Musical Comedy on the Shakespearean Stage – Scripts, Music & Context" (Exeter University Press, 2014), with Lucie Skeaping, shortlisted for the Katharine Briggs Award, The Folklore Society. He has also published on the Elizabethan jig (with Peter Thomson, "Studies in Theatre and Performance," 29:1), the relationship between the English broadside ballad and the dramatic jig ("Huntington Library Quarterly," 79:2, 2016) and the function of danced endings on Shakespeare’s stage ("The Oxford Handbook of Shakespeare and Dance," eds. L. McCulloch & B. Shaw. Oxford University Press, 2019).

Dr. Eric Tatham's early career was in Production Management in the Graphic Arts' industry before spending many years lecturing on 3D Graphics, Computer Games Programming and Software Engineering at various UK universities, including; the Open University, the University of Bradford, Coventry University and De Montfort University. He is the author of books on Software Engineering and has the following degree qualifications: BA (Hons) Electronics and Computing (First class) (Open), MSc in Computer Science (Hatfield), and a PhD for work on Augmented Reality (Loughborough). Although now retired, he still undertakes some projects as an independent Virtual Reality Environment and iOS Application Developer operating as Mixed Reality Ltd and specialising in Historical/Heritage applications. He now also has more time to pursue his longstanding love of photography.
