During the clone wars, the structure of the army had to be rigid enough to be effective in any situation, this led to the creation of the systems and sector armies. Each sector army contained 4 corps, the most famous being the 7th sky corps, under the command of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Marshall Commander Cody.
