Prepped and painted
Simple green scotch bright to clean
Adhesion promotor spray can before paint
Did couple coats of each
When adding the powders thinnned out a little with reducer.
Used single stage purple acrylic enamel let cure and wet sand
Then mixed mica in with clear coat urethane, let dry wet sand and mixed the glow poder with just a regular clear over the bronze
Used spray glue on the dress pieces themselves let tack then put on the manifold so it didn’t pull up paint to put the wife’s dress on the manifold then sprayed over and took the dress pieces off
Then went back over with the purple and then another clear.
Yes it’s a lot of paint but was fun. And so far hasn’t came off yet.
I was advised if putting urethane clear only use single stage enamel paints that have a hardener or you’ll have issues unless the under paint is also urethane but this is what I had on hand from other projects.
