Here we have an old chili plant that is no longer productive
so we will rejuvenate this chili plant
The first thing to do is pick all the flowers and fruit
both ripe and unripe fruits, pick them all
we want the energy that this plant takes to focus on growing new shoots, leaves and roots,
not to ripen flowers or fruit
second step, we cut all the branches that are old,
we only leave main branches that have healthy shoots
so don't be afraid, if the branch looks yellow, cut it
and all we have left is this
only branches that are green and have shoots that look fresh
third step, we remove the plant from the planting medium,
but try not to damage the roots
then cut off the tip of the roots, this is to trigger the growth of new roots
if the planting medium is less than 1 year old then we can immediately plant it again,
but if the planting medium is more than 1 year old, then we replace it with a new one
we use a mixture of soil and compost 1:1
and move the plant to a new planting medium
after 6 weeks
new shoots and new leaves is growing thick
and has begun to have lots of flower
even some fruits have appeared
after 12 weeks the fruit is ripe
and we can enjoy chili pepper for months to come
This plant will get bigger, with more shoots, and more fruit
New flowers and fruit will keep popping up
easy isn't it, see you in the next video
