For the first time ever, I got to attend the Amelia Island Concours in Florida! The first day started off with Cars & Caffeine featuring Radwood, a 1980's and 90's themed event, where I saw a lot of great cars from my childhood – including the iconic Porsche 911 GT1 race car!
What I wasn't expecting, was the opportunity to drive Precision Sport Industries' BMW E91 M3 GTS. It was an amazing build with an amazing sounding V8! They also brought along a new G87 M2 with a Vorsteiner carbon fiber widebody kit on it which looked absolutely mean.
To top off the day, I got to attend the Amelia Island Honoree dinner for Rick Hendrick. What a cool career and it was awesome to see the NASCAR Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 prepared for the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans!
It was an awesome first day!
