When you think of NASCAR "golden era" road course racing in the 1990s and early 2000s there is one man who is known for his road course footwork than any other driver... Ricky Rudd. This Ford C3 powered 2002 Taurus from Robert Yates Racing is the car that not only holds the distinction of Ricky's final race win, but ALSO the final race win for Robert Yates Racing's (formerly Ranier Racing's) iconic number 28 car. This particular car was also a Tide sponsored car originally built by Ricky's own team before he went to drive for RYR. There are several unique features and modifications made to the chassis by crew chief Fatback McSwain that make it stand out compared to other road racers of the time. Ricky goes into details about the specifics of his pedal configuration and racing seat positions for optimal road racing performance. The other car is the body from Ricky's 1992 IROC series champion year Dodge Daytona, which is an absolute UNICORN car in IROC world. The Daytona bodies just do not exist anymore!
