Building a Custom DIY Powder Coating Oven Part 1

This is a homemade DIY propane powdered oven. We have our Mr. Heater that is 75,000 - 125,000 BTU. We are using a Mr. Heater with an auto light, and converting the push solenoid to an electric solenoid to allow it to be controlled with the Ink Bird PID controller.

In this video you'll see us build the panels, sheet them with 18 gauge sheet steel, and put it all together.

As we've mentioned a few times, TL enjoys powder coating, so it's going to be one of the ways we support the channel and the builds that we plan to do, like the Honda Accord G23 build. To handle the jobs that people are asking us to do, we need a larger powder coating oven.

The cost of these ovens are thousands and even tens of thousands of dollars. So after some research online we decided to build our own custom powder coating oven that will be large enough to do the jobs that we need too, as well as fit in our shop without taking up too much room.
