Footage from june 1942 - siege of Sevastopol in Crimea. Axis armies (mainly wehrmacht) uses its heaviest firepower against fortifications, military targets and city itself. In video is shown Karl-Gerät (Thor) 600mm - self proppeled, heaviest mortar that was ever built and biggest artillery piece ever used in battle Schwerer Gustav (Dora) 800mm. One of the main targets were also famous soviet coastal batteries (Maxim Gorky I. and II.).
