It was a rare treat to see the hanger doors open at RAF Fairford and the U-2S Dragon Lady of the 99th expeditionary reconnaissance squadron taxi out for a short role display. For the petrol heads amongst us it was great to see how the Dodge Charger chase car driven by another U-2 pilot negotiated the take off and landing with the pilot of the aircraft on the airfield.
