The incan ruins around Cusco fascinated me so much. But more than that, it was talking to the Quechua families and knowing about their livelihood, how they weave, how they use natural colors to dye alpaca wool. You would think Machu Picchu is the biggest incan ruin, but there are so many more around Cusco and Sacred Valley. We also visited the Chinchero ruins, the Maras salt mines and the Moray ruins.
