Joining the Scientific Council of the ERC is a great honour and a kind of dounting because first you represent a feel of competence but most importantly you enter into one of the most prestigious places for science in the world
I have come to know ERC from being a panel member but also being a grantee and I’m full of admire of what the ERC has done for science in Europe and globally
The examples it has set both for universities and for funding bodies elsewhere is fantastic so it is great privilege to be able to serve this organisation
