Italian Extreme Enduro 2022 season kicked off with Rd 1, Wildwoods Extreme Enduro, at the Pro Park Genova on 23-24 April.

The main race was on Sunday and all classes hit their dedicated track seperately. Heavy rain that the region received before and during the racing weekend forced organizers to cancel a number of sectors but still it was one hell of a challenge for everyone.

Gold Class took start at 15:00 local and it witnessed a great battle between favorites both local and international.

Dominik Olszowy was the early leader of the race but the rough track made it really easy to make simple mistakes. Local hero Sonny Goggia took over the lead and kept it quite a while. Towards the end it was Michael Walkner’s turn and he hung on his pace enough to clinch the Victory.

Sonny Goggia came in P2 and Dominik Olszowy P3.
