INGREDIENTS AND METHOD
Welcome to my channel!
Chocolate Brioche Breakfast Rolls
Lukewarm Milk (1/2 cup or 125 ml)
Yeast (1 tsp or 4 g)
Sugar (2 tbsp or 24 g)
Leave for 5-10 minutes
Egg (1 large)
Leave 1 tbsp to use later
Plain Flour (2 cups or 250 g)
Salt (1/2 tsp or 3 g)
Milk powder (2 tbsp or 16 g)
Softened Butter (3 tbsp or 42 g)
Combine (knead) well to form a soft dough
If it feels sticky, add 1-2tbsp flour!
Leave it to prove for 1-11/2 hour
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts
For filling...
Chocolate spread (3-4 tbsp or as required)
Light brown Sugar (2 tbsp)
Cinnamon powder (1 tsp)
Roll out each dough ball into oval / rectangle shape
Spread some chocolate spread on one side
Sprinkle sugar cinnamon mixture
Make cuts on the other side of the dough (as shown in video)
Close the filling well
Fold the dough as shown in video
Leave them to prove for 20-30 minutes
Brush with 1 tbsp (leftover) egg
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/350F/Gas mark4 for 20-25 minutes
Nicely Baked!
Brush with some butter while hot
Delicious Chocolate Brioche Breakfast Rolls are ready to serve!
