Thrust test of various 4" propellers.... Morphite anyone?
"5040-4040" indicates prop has been cut down from 5 to 4 inches.
HQ = HQ Propeller
GF = GemFan
SZ = SurveilZone
FC = FC-HiModel

These are static thrust tests. None of the cut propellers have been tested in-flight.
In-flight performance could be different, vibrations are quite possible if props are not cut with equal length. It'll be interesting to see if GF5030x3-4030x3 becomes a good choice prop to use since those don't do well on 4S-2300KV with the larger 2204 motor. They end up wobbling too much.

Only thing I did notice with SZ6040-4040 were vibrations, I tested 2 props. I don't know if it's because of the very wide shape of the prop at the 4" mark that causes lots of turbulent air or my prop-cutting skills, so that's something to keep an eye on, as excessive-constant vibrations will wreak havoc with motor bearings
