Video showing current progress on recreating the Stour Valley line between Marks Tey and Shelford , along with the Bury St Edmunds branch from Long Melford, the Colne Valley route via Halstead and the Saffron Walden branch.
This video covers the Marks Tey to Bury St Edmunds section. The recreation is centred on the period around 1959 - 1960, just before there were any major curtailments to service, however some sidings had already been removed in the mid 1950s.
