This is an extract from the Ōkahu Kaitiaki film inside Auckland Museum's new marine exhibition Moana - My Ocean (June 21 - Oct 28 2013). It tells the story of the restoration work being done by tamariki of Ōrākei School and of Ngāti Whātua's cultural and historical ties to Ōkahu Bay. The film was made as part of an Auckland Museum youth outreach project in collaboration with descendants of Ngati Whātua.
