Shooting my Swiss SIG SG 552 Commando SBR! This is a factory firearm that was manufactured in Switzerland and imported as a "pistol" by JDI Firearms to get around silly American import restrictions. The SG 552 was manufactured by SIG/SAN between 1998 and 2008 before being replaced by the SG 553. It was used in Swiss service as the Stgw 04 and was exported to military and law enforcement units around the world.

The are extremely rare in the Untied States! I estimate that there are only less than 200 semi-auto SG 552s in the US. Out of those 200, JDI Firearms imported around 70 into the US as pistols. Out of those 70, only ten were imported in the classic grey steel / green furniture configuration with diopter sights. Mine is one of those ten!
