Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh today called the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) a master of double standards. Speaking to mediapersons on the ongoing controversy involving BJP ministers Smriti Irani and Vinod Tawde, Singh said, "BJP is master of double standards. One standard is for themselves and the other is for others." Singh also criticised the BJP's actions on the Lalitgate controversy, "They will go to any extend to prove the hard facts wrong. Now when apparently Vasundhara Raje has signed on a document where she has supported the application to the UK government that Lalit Modi should be allowed to travel, this I would say is anti-national stand." Reacting to a question on Raje blocking TIMES NOW from asking tough questions, Singh said "This is the way BJP function."
