Kaitlyn Hodges is the Disability Services Librarian with the Virginia Beach Public Library. Here, she serves as an advocate and resource for patrons with disabilities, educates internal and external customers about the Talking Books program, provides outreach services to the community, and implements process improvements to the program. She is also a 2019 ALA Emerging Leader. Prior to joining the Virginia Beach Public Library, she served as a Reader’s Advisory Librarian for the South Carolina State Library’s Talking Book program for almost 5 years. Her passion lies within providing equitable and inclusive programs and services to all library customers.
