DEI in Financial Services: Turning the Financial Exclusion Tanker Around!
Much of the focus in correspondent banking (and rightly so) is centered on de-risking, mitigation of high-risk country corridors, settlement, and AML. In this trend, however, there may be a risk that we fail to normalize the new growing trade corridors, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the MENA region.
Key perspectives in this session will focus on:
-Diversity in skills and experience arising from new corridors, bringing new entrants – from public/ private infrastructures in MENA, multi-laterals, and sovereign wealth funds
-Wholesale increased FDI & ECA infrastructure – finding your role beyond participation and distribution
-Corporate and fintech inclusion – the evolution from ISO to true interoperability
-Transition and export financing offers us all collectively the opportunity to redefine the concept of high-risk trade corridors, redefining flows and collaboration with new funding sources.
