Today I installed Windows XP on an old laptop. Today is January 1, 2021. As the old OS draws near to its 20th birthday I try performing a clean installation to see what it would take to get the system up and running with drivers. This varies greatly from system to system, but mine in particular was possible (not easy, but possible). A lot of things have changed over the course of 2020, but the OS unbelievably remains usable and rather capable especially on old systems designed for it.
