I visited this Unescor Worlds Heritage site. The fortified city of Peschiera del Garda is a Unesco World Heritage and is part of the famous Venetian Works of Defence, also called Stato da Terra or Western Stato da Mar. This is my visit from my point of view as a history interested person. The video covers a little bit if Venetian history, Italian history, Roman and Gallic history. Did you know that this small town was captured by the french in the napoleonic wars? And that it also has belonged to the Austrians? I also captured a part of an Italian wedding.
