Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report team with host, Coy Jandreau, were at the Paramount Pictures, Instant Family director Sean Anders, and Kidsave event to help foster youth and spoke with a number of guests and talent from the film, Instant Family. In attendance at the event with a number of foster children, were Instant Family writer/director Sean Anders (Daddy’s Home), actress Julie Hagerty, actress/comic Tig Notaro and Kidsave CEO Randi Thompson.

About Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles Event
Paramount Pictures will host Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles Event on the studio lot, giving interested families and older foster youth an opportunity to engage and connect through fun interactive activities. The event will be kicked off by Sean Anders, who wrote and directed the film Instant Family, which was inspired by his real-life experience adopting three older children out of foster care. Red carpet interviews with Anders, actors from the film, and Kidsave spokespeople will take place prior to the event.
About Kidsave
Kidsave is a non-profit dedicated to helping older kids find families by safely introducing them to caring adults first through interactive, fun events and ultimately through weekend hosting visits. Host families mentor the kids and introduce them to prospective adoptive parents. The kids are empowered to select hosts they are interested in getting to know more, flipping the idea of a traditional adoption event on its head. This model is effective as 75% of kids are adopted or remain connected to an adult they met through Kidsave. Learn more about Kidsave and other events at kidsave.org
About Instant Family
Inspired by writer/director Sean Anders’ real-life experience, Instant Family is a hilarious and heartwarming story of a couple (Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne) who dive headfirst into the world of foster care adoption. After they learn their perfect foster child comes with two other siblings, they find themselves speeding from zero to three kids overnight and must hilariously learn the ropes of instant parenthood. Instant Family will arrive on Digital February 19 and on Blu-ray and DVD March 5.
