Section 376 IPC | Conviction on sole testimony of victim? | Supreme Court answers |
Recently the Supreme Court while deciding an appeal in rape case held that if the testimony of the prosecutrix is reliable and trustworthy then the court can convict the accused only on the basis of that sole testimony of the prosecutrix. there is no need to corroborate her testimony with the testimonies of independent witnesses.
