Members of a German swimming club, adorned with Santa hats, took part in the traditional Christmas swim at Berlin's Lake Oranke Monday, a tradition spanning 40 years.
The Berliner Seals braved a water temperature of 5 degrees Celsius (41 Fahrenheit) and an air temperature of 11 degrees Celsius (51.8 Fahrenheit). They discussed the health benefits of winter ice dipping and year-round swimming.
