In today's Blueprint Explosive Exclusive with Pranesh Roy and Kristween Walia, we discuss the ruckus over BBC's documentary movie on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) today objected to BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that "it has no objectivity." A new two-part BBC documentary, 'India: The Modi Question', takes a critical look at the PM holding him responsible for 2002 Gujarat riots. MEA termed the film "a propaganda piece, designed to push a particular discredited narrative." The MEA further slammed "the bias, lack of objectivity and continuing colonial mindset is blatantly visible."
BBC simply wants to paint PM Modi as anti-Muslim. BBC didn't go to any of the Hindu victims of the 2002 riots to record their version. It's not a govt mouthpiece. It's independent & uses taxpayers' money to carry out it's operations, said Dr Vivek Kaul.
BBC is the mouthpiece of the British govt. They obviously didn't have the guts to make a documentary of the ethic cleansing of the Kashmiri Pandits, said Aarti Tikoo.Outrage Over BBC Film On PM Modi, 'Propaganda' Sparks Debate 'Hatchet Job' By Ecosystem? | Blueprint
