A lot of mountain bikers loved the existing Specialized Stumpjumper and Stumpjumper EVO. Then Specialized released the latest Stumpjumper 15 with a proprietary FOX shock called GENIE. There was a lot of discussion about WHY they made the changes they did, how the shock actually works, and how it coexists with the new Stumpy. We had many of the same questions. So we went to Auburn, California, to get the answers.
