Drone FPV racing is a fast growing and exciting sport that is set to take the world by storm in the coming years. These drone pilots are truly ahead of the curve when it comes to flying quadcopters and multirotors alike, such as the QAV250 by Lumenier.
The drones in this compilation are all flown First Person View (FPV) that allows the pilots a real time video feed making it possible to fly hard and faster than if they were flying by line of site. Be it in a forest or an empty parking lot. The best technology for FPV flying is the Fat Shark Dominator HD, Fat shark are leaders in FPV goggles and live video from drones.
The drone pilots themselves only see a much lower resolution picture as they are flying, this is due to the fact that the transmitter cannot cope with very high quality video streaming. However the quadrocpters are often equipped with an additional GoProHD camera that allows the flights to be recorded and watched later.
The main drone used in creation of this epic FPV and acrobatic drone video is the QAV250 quadrocopter with Fat shark FPV headsets. Other Epic drone videos are made with multiroaters such as the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+RTF and quadcopters like the Blade Nano QX, with massive filming range for such a tiny drone.
This new technology really is the closest you can get to star wars pod racing style action in real life.
