~Our culture is a materialist culture~
And what I mean by that is that we experience everything around us as things, the labels, the stereotypes, we use even that language of 'using' it self right rather than partnering with, for example, and there is a certain range of possibilities that are going to present themselves to us, when we really believe that we live in a world of things.
The #shamanic perspective is an animist perspective, everything is alive, there is a quality of consciousness that exists in everything that it has a life of its own. Even our own body isn't a thing.
It's a process that's unfolding and there is a whole other range of possibilities that are available when we understand the distinction between animism and materialism.
