My daughter and I arrived in Paris for 3 days and knew Versailles was on our bucket list in addition to the Paris sights. She was the narrator and primary recorder for this trip, for a different perspective! What a great memory! Even though the outside Paris day trip proved to be challenging with transportation problems and crowds, The Palace of Versailles is an ideal day trip from Paris because you can take a train easily from there.

Paris is incredible to visit and 3 days is hardly enough time. Luckily I was able to do outside Paris daytrips on my return from Northern Europe because our flight left from Paris. Check out my Northern Europe cruise for vacation ideas!
