As mentioned in this video, my channel has become a bit of a Franken-monster with hap hazard organization of material in the playlists.

When I first started the channel I was new to everything on the channel; handguns, reloading, shooting, gunsmithing. The feedback from subscribers helped me grow and helped the channel grow and I appreciate that. But rather than focus on the past, it’s time to move forward.

A lot of the older content features products or components that are no longer in use on my guns as I have found better or improved alternatives. My objective is to redo a lot of the older gunsmithing videos with improved videography, detail and instructions.

As always, my focus is on the CZ brand and although I have two other models of CZ handguns, the Optic Ready Shadow 2 is my main focus; both in function and aesthetics and has been my primary interest since it became available in Canada since January 2019 and was one of the first reviewers on the Optic Ready Shadow 2 on Youtube, thanks in large part to the USPSA weight restrictions at the time for Carry Optics which made the OR Shadow 2 unfeasible for retail sales in the USA as it is primarily a competition gun. With the lifting of the weight restrictions, it opened the market for heavier pistols like the Shadow 2 in the US and people no longer needed to mill their slides or lighten the gun in order for it to meet the weight restriction limits.

Anyone interested in purchasing a Shadow 2, I strongly encourage you to spend the extra dollars and get the Optic Ready version. The Optic Ready version allows you to shoot iron sights or exchange the easily removed rear iron sight for an optic plate.
