Shooting the Mini Draco AK-47 pistol in 7.62x39 at the gun range. This is the flat 360° version of the last Mini Draco video and offers a unique perspective with a full view of the surroundings. Captured some pretty impressive muzzle signatures from the Snake Hound Machine AK Loudener, essentially a flash enhancer.

I've made a number of upgrades to this pistol since recording this video and am looking forward to getting it back out to the shooting range. So far the wood handguards have been replaced, as well as the pistol grip, and dust cover. The fire control group original wire shepherds hook has been removed. I have a retainer plate handy, but currently don't need it as I installed a side rail scope mount by AK Master Mount. Testing a Burris FastFire 3 on the upper handguard rail to determine if a side mount will be necessary for a durable reflex site, but wanted to have both mount options ready to compare.

Still debating on a muzzle brake. I'm finding too many great options for a Mini Draco that it's making it difficult to settle on something. Leave a comment below if you have a recommendation on a brake you think might be a good match with the Mini Draco.

Eventually the factory trigger will be replaced with a Tapco G2 AK trigger group. I prefer the budget friendly and simple G2 trigger vs expensive AK-47 FCG's more recently available on the market. With a quick ak trigger job of polishing a few key areas the Tapco G2 can provide a consistent and smooth trigger pull and reset as good as any other.

With a couple of add-on accessories like an angled foregrip, QD sling attachments and sling, this pistol will be a great compact pistol for fun at the range or a trunk gun for self-defense. The Mini Draco is a small enough ak pistol to fit into most backpacks, is lightweight, has better range than standard handguns, and provides plenty of firepower with standard 30-round capacity magazines. If zombies ever became an issue, I only hope that my trusty Mini Draco is by my side.
