My encounter with wildlife along the Kinabatangan river, the longest river in Sabah meandering 560km to the Sulu Sea, was unforgettable. It was where I saw the biggest monkeys and a real 3m crocodile before me. Only river water was in between us.

Our gateway to the river was Myne Resort which overlooks the Kinabatangan river in a compound so rustic that I felt immediately reincarnated. It was very difficult to leave that place as my soul was yearning for the nourishment its environment provided. Check out the video to know what I mean.
