Many of the streets of Kampala were largely free of vendors this morning as KCCA enforcement officers and police moved to evict them.
Some of the vendors on the streets had with them their merchandise still packed
The Minister for Kampala Betty Kamya ordered them off the streets last week following numerous complaints from traders in shops.
