The British Museum has an extensive collection of textiles from Palestine including full outfits. As part of the Museum's International Training Programme (ITP) and in collaboration with the Palestinian Exploration Fund (PEF), fashion designer Omar Nasser Khouri has been researching the collection and drawing inspiration from these beautiful fabrics, finding out more about embroidery and embellishment techniques and what they say about the society that originated them.
